Jan & Lara are married designer duo who initiated Universe Positivo in 2012 along with Philippe Delaisse (founder of Ethnicraft). The drive came from a desire to provide affordable, good quality and European made design. Lara studied fashion with an interior decorating and costume design background. She also worked as a stylist for several Belgium interior magazines. Having met and married Jan in 2000, the pair travelled together to China & Vietnam where they developed eco-stone material key and designs for Handsen&Handsen.
